In Infinity Burns, a defiant philosopher faces execution for claiming the universe is infinite. As the Inquisition closes in, Giordano Bruno battles torturers, gods, and his own fear; meanwhile, the Inquisitors try to figure out what the proper snack is to serve at a stake-burning. With a chorus of infinite voices and the god Hermes whispering in his ear, Bruno must decide what he’s willing to die for—and what might be worth lying to save. Infinity Burns is a kaleidoscopic collision of history, heresy, and the terrifying beauty of belief.
After workshopping and performing this wonderful play as part of Avalanche Theatre’s Next Draft Series, what an honor to be asked to reprise my Cardinal Bellarmine role for a lavish, full production at the revered Red Orchid!

And just look at this cast. What a joy with these folks. Truly, just a phenomenal group of humans to collaborate and play with. In this infinite universe, I’m insanely fortunate to have found myself here, with them, to tell this absurd, beautiful story.
Gods. Visions. Torture. It’s a good time.
